CITY OF ANGELS
Paradise on the Earth, is it possible? Let’s check it out.
Grand Palace=)
According to recent opinion-polls Southeast Asia is becoming more and more popular place for a perfect and unforgettable vocation. And as you may already guess, in the next few paragraphs I want to share a piece of paradise with you. We will make a little trip to the most fascinating and amazing place on the Earth, to Bangkok – the capital of Thailand. This city is renowned for its energetic nightlife, a range of temples, floating markets, delicious cuisine and high traffic congestion. This is the great mixture of ancient spirit and modern lifestyle, because next to the skyscrapers beautiful little wats, namely the Buddhist temples are situated.
When you step on the land of Bangkok you may be impressed by traffic jams, which are considered to be current national issue, but don’t worry because the Airport Express Bus or MRT (underground station) can easily convey you to any destination you need. We should do the justice to Bangkok’s hotels and accommodation places, which are in great quality and for reasonable prices.
There is a definite list of things you may indulge in Bangkok. Of course the best and the easiest way to explore the city is to use an interesting daytrip. But you can make your own, more intense and informative list.
First of all you should relax after a flight and try
traditional Thai massage (SPA). Then shopping! In Bangkok you can find the best shopping hub and a good place to bargain. Let’s visit Bangkok Floating Market, where traders are selling their goods straight from the boats along the canals or Night Market, which the street Patpong turns into every evening. There you can find famous Thai silk, colorful handmade scarves and dresses and the freshest fruits and other useful stuff.
Sacred Buddha=)
Main architectural attractions of the city are
Wat Phra Kaeo, the temple of the Emerald Buddha and the
Grand Palace. Remember to take socks with you, because to enter the sacred temple you have to take your shoes off. And walking along the Chao Phraya River you can enjoy romantic candlelit surrounding and slight breeze and at the end of this little trip you get to one more splendid temple – Wat Pho. And also climb up a tower of Wat Arun – the temple of sunrise colors. The breathtaking landscape is really worthy.
Isn’t a time to eat something after a long excursions and sightseeing tours?! The Thai cuisine is godlike. You may buy the food straight from the trader’s counters, because of three convincing reasons: that’s cheaper, completely secure and very tasty. But indulge yourself a little bit and visit a restaurant. You should definitely visit the Royal Dragon Restaurant, which was recorded as the largest restaurant in the world by Guinness Book of Records. The square of the Royal Dragon Restaurant is like the square of 4 football stadiums. Due to the huge size of the restaurant the waiters and waitresses are serving food on roller skates. There you can taste all kinds of seafood and all the national Thai dishes, as well as Japanese, Chinese and European cuisine.
And the other exciting part of our trip is clubbing. The streets are full of bars, clubs and different entertaining hubs. In the Bed Supper Club you will definitely enjoy the live music, the white oval interior and the great variety of cocktails and liquors.
It’s up to you whether to rush out right now and book the air tickets to the City of Angels or just to turn the page, but I, personally, believe it’s the genuine paradise on the Earth.
one more proof to visit Bangkok=)
