The Washington Post is generally regarded as one of the leading daily American newspaper. The Post is the fifth American newspaper by circulation. It is also the oldest and still-existing paper. The Washington Post was established in 1877 and since that time it acquired the domestic and international prestige. The most notable incident in the Washington Post's history happened in the 1970s, reporters Bob Woodword and Carl Bernstein did the American media's investigation that became known as the Watergate scandle.
